Pursuant to the item L 6381 2 of the public health code, fifteen days a minimum time must be adhered to between the handing-over of the detailed estimate and the intake in the esthetic surgery department of the private clinic. It cannot be to in no case derogated from this time, even on your request.
After your decision of intervention of plastic surgery, the surgeon will address to you with the consultation of anesthesia. The consultation of anesthesia is obligatory before any programmed intervention, it is ensured by one of the doctors anesthetists of the private clinic, which will explain you his front role, during and after the surgical intervention.
Do not forget to bring:
- Your card of blood-group (if you have one of them).
- Radios or possible examinations in connection with the intervention.
Do not omit to announce to the anesthetist:
- All pathologies relating to you.

All drug ingestions (anti-hypertenseur, anticoagulant, anti-inflammatory drug, capture of aspirine recent, contraceptive…).
After you to have questioned (E) and examined (E), the anesthetist will give you:
- A form of information;
- An ordinance to make a blood balance-sheet in the test laboratory of your choice;
- In certain cases, a regulation of electrocardiogram and radiography.
If a change in your health intervened between the consultation of anesthesia and your hospitalization, you will have to inform the service of it as of your intake.
The surgeon who received you in consultation must practice the surgical intervention personally. This information is mentioned on the estimate. On the other hand the anesthetists working in team, the anesthetist who will practice the anesthetic monitoring could be different from that which you consulted. The observations noted during the consultation by the anesthetist are systematically mentioned in your patient file which is at the disposal of all the medical team and looking after. The anesthetist of service will carry out a inspection before your intervention.
