Dermatologic surgery

Certain lesions of the skin must be surgically withdrawn,
sometimes for cosmetic reasons, generally for medical reasons.

Among these lesions, some are benign (sebaceous warts, fibromas, cysts…), of other can be suspect (spots having undergone an amendment traumatic or spontaneous, mole which extends or whose pigmentation changes…). They can also be lesions with extensive tendency ( cutaneous).

In the very large majority of the cases, these interventions take place under local anesthesia. When the lesion is of small size, a is made in spindle around the lesion, and is replaced by a linear cicatrice.

If the lesion is larger as in certain localizations, of the artifices of plastic surgeon are necessary (plastic surgeon in “Z”, “”, scrap of rotation) to allow a cicatrization of better quality.

The withdrawn lesion is systematically addressed to a laboratory of - pathology to be analyzed. The wire are withdrawn on average between the sixth and it twelfth day and the cicatrice will be regularly supervised.

The role of the surgeon plastics technician is thus to entirely withdraw these skin lesions to avoid a repetition and to use various techniques to obtain a better result on the esthetic level.
