The belly

For the abdominal wall, there is not only one technique which can adapt to all the cases. Indeed the surgeon plastics technician must analyze various mailmen specific to the patient before advising the intervention to him which seems to him best adapted.

Among these mailmen, it is necessary to quote in particular: the skin turgor, the more or less important infiltration of grease, the tonicity of the abdominal muscles, the surplus of skin if there are some, the presence or not of cicatrices or stretch marks.

Thus, the processing will be quite different if it is simply about a small round belly or on the contrary if they are an abdominal wall forced and distended in particular because of pregnancies or important ponderal variations.

The analysis will be done also in particular according to the morphology of the patient and if necessary it will be useful to discuss for example a lubricating infiltration associated with the hips.

In all the cases and as for any intervention, an preoperative evaluation will be practiced.
