Face lift of the arms

This intervention can be indicated when there exists an important excess of skin and grease on the inner face of the arm.
The fat infiltration is corrected by a - aspiration and the excess of skin , leaving a vertical cicatrice inside the arm. Accurate information of the course of the intervention, continuations, and foreseeable result, will be made during the first consultation.

Before the intervention, tests of laboratory are required systematically.

The intervention is carried out under thorough local anesthesia or general anesthesia. A - aspiration first is carried out (if necessary) which withdraws fat excess, then the cutaneous plan is corrected by an incision on the inner face of the arm. A bandage is set up during a few days. The duration of the hospitalization is from twenty-four to forty eight hours.

In the operational continuations, an edema and bruises can appear which will reabsorb gradually.

The wire (when they are not ) will be withdrawn twelve to fifteen days later.
The cicatrice with the inner face of the arm will be checked regular care and to enable him to evolve/move the best possible one.

This intervention, if it leaves indeed a vertical cicatrice to the inner face of the arm, effectively corrects awkward and unaesthetic excesses cutaneous and fat.

Often, this cicatrice remains visible what requires a particularly rigorous selection of the operational indications.
