The Plastic surgeon and Esthetics made these last years of very important progress made possible by a better knowledge of tissues and anatomical structures and by the advent of novel methods.

In cosmetic surgery in particular of the interventions hitherto conventional were modernized and the results obtained are better and more durable.

New interventions appeared making possible the correction of disgraces hitherto inaccessible and this with the constant worry of an increased security, a larger comfort and more discrete cicatrices.

The techniques of anesthesia progressed also much authorizing lighter anesthesias, simpler continuations and of this fact of the durations of hospitalization much shorter.

Such progress does not go without an unceasingly reactualized training and information of the plastic and esthetic surgeon. This formation must obey has a complete and rigorous teaching to enable him to exert under the best security conditions and of reliability.

Surgeon initially, it must then specialize in plastic surgeon and esthetics, to be recognized qualified by the French College of plastic surgeon and esthetics. This competence will have to be to him then confirmed by the National council about the Doctors.

The care, that the surgeon must with his patients, passes by a personalized consultation, analyzing in detail the request and explaining all the technical sides which are referred to it. The intervention carried out under the best security conditions and of comfort, will be followed by regular controls to supervise the operational continuations as well as possible.
